In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the digital divide was something that many students faced with the challenge of at-home learning. Formerly known as the Boosts Resilience Fund, the Microgrant program was established to provide students the small 'boost' they need to unlock their full potential.
Coming into 2021, many low-income students find themselves lacking the resources that they need to succeed. With Close The Gap’s Distance Learning Microgrants, we hope to bridge the digital divide for those in need during these troubling times.
At Close the Gap, we want to bring attention to organizations that are addressing the digital divide and supporting both local and national communities with their efforts.
