With its second partner program with Forbes Under 30, Close the Gap Foundation is proving the power of deep partnership and community building in tackling the network and opportunity gaps for first-generation, low-income students.
The third annual Social Impact Fellowship concluded on September 12 with Pitch Day, where 30 first-generation, low-income high school students presented and answered questions regarding their summer social impact projects to a panel of industry leaders and educators for scholarship awards.
The inaugural program launched in June 2021 matched 97 high school and college students with Forbes 30 Under 30 Listers to form mentorship circles that are worked to close the network gap this summer.
With $15,000 in Community Credits and grants, DoorDash is partnering with Close the Gap Foundation to create our most diverse and strongest Social Impact Fellowship program yet.
